Returnal to My Blog

I have not been on this site for a couple of years now. Upon returning, I looked back at my blogs from previous years, and the looks of them make my eyes hurt. The question for me is: How do I want to establish myself as an author on this site? I know how I conduct my writing in school, but should it be the same? Do I want to be creative and energetic? Do I want to be serious and professional? Do I want to be thoughtful and imaginative? Do I desire to engage my readers with intellectual phrases and an academic vocabulary? Or do I not want to sound plain and simple? I believe writing is an art that is misunderstood by many. It is essential for success in this world. Therefore, this blog is partially for practicing writing on my own free will. While practicing my prose, I plan on narrating stories of broad variety. After all, a blog spot contains no rules. My first series of compositions are going to be autobiographical. They will contain my past, my present, and the direction I desire for my future. After these pieces, I will write about various subjects that I find worthy of commentary. I am using this site as a source for myself rather than a place for readers to be intrigued, but if you insist on reading I hope I don't bore you to death. :)
